TERMS & CONDITIONS:​ 

Welcome to Fantastic Cleaners. By requesting, booking, or receiving services from Fantastic Cleaners, the client agrees to the following Terms and Conditions. SCOPE: Fantastic Cleaners provides professional cleaning and maintenance services for companies, NGOs, institutions, and residential clients in Gulu and across Northern Uganda. Our services may include office cleaning, institutional cleaning, post-construction cleaning, move-in or move-out cleaning, pest control and disinfection, upholstery and sofa cleaning where applicable, and compound or grounds maintenance. The exact scope, frequency, and expectations of service will be defined during quotation, work order, or contract agreement, and Fantastic Cleaners reserves the right to decline tasks that fall outside the agreed service scope or present safety risks to staff or property. SERVICE HOURS: Standard service hours are Monday to Saturday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., unless otherwise agreed in writing. Services requested outside these hours may attract additional charges. While Fantastic Cleaners strives to maintain punctual arrival, delays may occasionally occur due to traffic conditions, weather, equipment failure, or other operational factors beyond our control. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Clients are responsible for ensuring that our team has reasonable and timely access to the premises at the agreed service time and that the environment is safe for work. Clients should provide access to essential utilities such as water and electricity where required for cleaning equipment. Clients must also inform Fantastic Cleaners in advance of fragile items, sensitive equipment, restricted areas, hazardous substances, or any special instructions relating to the premises. Fantastic Cleaners will not be responsible for damage resulting from unstable furniture, improperly installed fixtures, unsecured items, or pre-existing defects. STAFF AND SAFETY: Fantastic Cleaners staff are trained to follow professional cleaning standards and workplace safety procedures. Clients must inform Fantastic Cleaners of any hazardous conditions, aggressive animals, or dangerous materials on the premises. Fantastic Cleaners reserves the right to suspend or terminate work immediately if staff safety is compromised. EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES: Fantastic Cleaners will normally provide its own professional cleaning equipment and materials unless otherwise agreed. If a client requests the use of client-provided equipment or products, Fantastic Cleaners will not be responsible for equipment malfunction, damage, or performance limitations. LIABILITY: While Fantastic Cleaners takes reasonable precautions to avoid property damage, accidents may occasionally occur. Any claim for damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion to allow for investigation. Where liability is clearly established, Fantastic Cleaners may repair, replace, or compensate for the affected item at its discretion; however, the maximum liability shall not exceed the value of the cleaning service provided. Fantastic Cleaners shall not be responsible for normal wear and tear, deterioration, pre-existing damage, or damages resulting from improper installation or maintenance. SERVICE CHANGES: Requests for additional tasks beyond the agreed service scope may result in additional charges and may require a revised quotation before work continues. Fantastic Cleaners reserves the right to adjust pricing where the actual workload differs significantly from the original estimate. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING: Clients may reschedule or cancel services with at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations, lockouts, or situations where our team arrives but cannot access the premises may result in a service charge equivalent to the scheduled service fee. PAYMENT TERMS: Fantastic Cleaners accepts payment via Cash, Mobile Money, Bank Transfer, or approved Company Cheques. One-time services are generally payable immediately after completion unless otherwise agreed, while recurring cleaning services may be invoiced weekly or monthly according to the service agreement. Mobile money payments should include any applicable withdrawal charges. Late payments may attract administrative charges and may result in suspension of services until payment is received. All payments must be made in Ugandan Shillings unless otherwise agreed in writing. SERVICE AGREEMENTS: Clients receiving regular cleaning or maintenance services may enter into a written service agreement defining service frequency, scope, pricing, and contract duration. Either party may terminate such agreements by providing written notice according to the terms specified in the contract. PETS AND PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY: For liability reasons, Fantastic Cleaners staff cannot supervise pets, plants, or children during service. Clients should ensure that pets are secured and that personal or valuable items are stored safely before service begins. PHOTOGRAPHY: For quality control, training, and service verification purposes, Fantastic Cleaners may take before-and-after photographs of work areas. Such images will not intentionally capture confidential information and may be used internally or for promotional purposes. Clients may request that no photographs be taken during scheduling. SATISFACTION: Fantastic Cleaners is committed to customer satisfaction. If a client is dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, they should notify Fantastic Cleaners within 24 hours so the issue can be reviewed and corrected where appropriate. ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT: Fantastic Cleaners promotes environmentally responsible cleaning practices wherever possible and contributes to environmental restoration through initiatives such as tree planting and recycling awareness through our Youth in Cleaning and Recycling Empowerment (YCARE) program. MODIFICATIONS: Fantastic Cleaners reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
